Minimalist Momma Life Challenge

Today is the day! to join the challenge click here and sign up. I'll be sending the workbooks out this evening and I can't wait to get started. I will also be sharing before and after pictures of my home to show what a difference Minimalism is making in our family. I have done this in VERY few areas of our life so far, but they have made a HUGE impact. I hope you'll join me. It's going to be fun and I hope life changing.

Getting Started...

If you haven't started yet or signed up yet, here are a few tips for those of you just wondering what this is all about.

First, a few principles for "Minimalism" 

  • Get rid of things you don't need. A lot of time I read that people add "or things that don't make you happy" I think after you get through and only have "things you need" then you can go back and add a few things that you love to look at, pretty things, etc. 
  • Buy less and make smart shopping choices
  • Use your home for living not storing things
  • Simplicity is best
  • Make attachments to people not things
  • Learn to be content with less 
Where to start?
Today get your head wrapped around those principles and then make a list of the 10 most essential things you need and use on a daily basis. There may be more, but make a list of just the top 10.
